As i go through my journey relocating and removing a lot of components to fit this turbo, I have a question. The Turbo coolant feed line off the block. Can this be completely plugged since im switching to an Evo9 OFH w/ oil cooler? or will this mess with coolant pressures/flow? Do i need to loop this outlet back to the water pipe? Also what size is this plug M16x1.5 i assume?

You can cap the coolant feed coming off the bottom of the water pipe (going to the OFH sandwhich plate) and the return at the top of the t-stat housing, removing that hard line that's bolted to the block, without having any side effects to your engines cooling efficiency.

Plug the red connections(recommend welding), remove all the green hose/piping. As you can see in the coolant flow diagram, the OFH isn't even a part of the equation. It wouldn't be a bad idea to add a oil cooler to your Evo OFH though to keep oil temps in check though.

the OFH cooler in my car is fed off the block and have it return into the waterpipe? I guess thats how it was routed by the previous owner, I dont even have the second hard line , just the main water pipe and a banjo bolt running into the OFH .

Thank you for your quick response, I am going to plug that feed off underneath the pipe , It also is creating a clearance issue with my turbine housing so if i can plug it , id rather have it gone, than to loop it around. Again appreciate the quick help!
