switching to a 4g63t

i have a 93 eagle talon an im also gettin a 91 eclipse they both have the 4g37 i want to do the swap to a 4g63t what all is have to be done to do it. do i have to change the motor mounts. an im in the process of gettin a 93 eclipse with the 4g63t but there is no title so all i would do is swap the motor out. an where is the best place to get all this stuff an does anyone know a place that knows where i could pick up a single peice headlights for the 93. (i dont like the 2 peice set)

I've done the swap and it's not that hard at all to do. It's just about the same as swap the n't motor for another n/t motor. You just have to add in the time of swapimh out the wiring harness since you have the 1.8 car.

How about you switch out the vin numbers? Or is that illigal? I don't if anybody would appreciate this, but just stupid idea came to my head. And by the way 1.8 car has some goodiesin it like the throttle cable without the cruising control (box on the fire wall), steering rack without power stering = less weight.

Well, if you take apart your cruise control box then you effectively have that no cruise cable, and I found a manual rack at a yard for cheap for my Talon.

Here's a relevant question: How much experience do you, toyotuner, have with DSM's?

ok i know this is off subject but arent eclipse an the talon usin the same head gasket it. my cousin just called me an was tellin me thats its a normal problem when my talon isnt doin it an the eclipse is i would think the talon would since it has 180000 miles an the eclipse has 128000 on it.

ok quick question is the top motor mount on the 4g37 and the 4g63t the same?
im expecting it to be different i havent look at a 1g tsi in person yet
