Switching out suspension

Currently Im running Max speed coilovers on Kyb gr-2 shocks. The ride is not smooth at all and it feels as if my car bottoms out everytime i hit a bump.

What i was thinkin of doing was swapping out my SPRINGS and using vr6 (Vw) springs instead. They both are the same size, but the vr6 is alot heavier than my car, so will these help smooth things out? Wat are advantage (if any) and disadvantages?

maxspeed spring rates are very stiff. the springs are 2.5" inner diameter so you can replace them with softer rates.

so my goal would be to get a softer rate? Im jess lookin for stiff suspension what will ride smoother than it is now..
