420A Swapping my 95 GSX motor to a 98 GS body

Well im thinking of buying a 98 gs body to swap my 95 gsx motor into and my question is this. Would my motor bolt right on to this transmission? I was thinking of swapping the awd into it but my gsx body is really old with 170000 miles and i dont know how long it'll last. And in all honesty i jus think it'll be too much work to convert it to awd. Any help or thoughts on what i should do would be great.

If I'm not mistaken, you cannot even swap a turbo engine into a NT 2g.

I mean well you can. But the short answer is No.

The GS is a 420a engine made by Chrysler, and the 4g63 is made by Mitsu. So the trans will absolutely not bolt up.

Yeah the motor/trans setup is completely backwards between the two, oppostie sides. The transmission isn't even the start of the problems there, you'd have to fabricate all of the motor/trans mounts from scratch.

You'll need to fabricate engine mounts, redo all the wiring, you'll need the trans... a major pain. And why would you want to go from an all wheel drive platform to a front wheel drive one? Who care how many miles are on the gsx, as long as it's solid and not rusted through, keep going with it. Mine has over 220K on it... Just keep up on the maintenance.
