Ok so heres my questions... Has anybody removed the 2g top mount that has the studs built in that and put on a 1g top mount.. I have suspension tokico blues on my 2g that i want to put on the 1g... But the radius on the 2g studs is smaller then the 1g.... I had friends telling me that i could separate the mount from the strut and put the 1g mount on.. Has anyone done this or know of a how to guide in order to change these pieces out?

Another thing.. Both vehicles are fwd... Suspension on 1g is completely blown but have brand new suspensiin on a non running 2g

2g on a 1g,NO.2g is a completely different suspension setup.
Evo on a 1g,Yes.But stock for stock evo shocks make the 1g raise ride height. That will need to be taken care of.

Correction- Evo 1-3 on a 1g. Or Evo 8 with modifications.

But since you are asking this question, just sell the 2g and go buy 1g specific shocks.
