suspension makes knocking noise on hard turns

i have a 95 gsx and when i make hard left hand turns the right front wheel makes a knock sound. one knock, then thats it. its all factory suspension. there was a recall on the lower ball joints and it was done in 2002. anyone had this same problem? it so i could really use some insight.

Check your CV boots. If any are torn or you see grease, be suspicious of the CV joint. Check it anyway.

i was going to say to check your axles..but it shoudl continue to knock if your axle was trashed

Not as likely a CV joint if it's only making the noise once. Have a suspension shop check it over.
