I am in great need of new suspension because the person that had the car before me droped it down so that the lowest point of the frame is only 2.5 inchs off the ground. On top of that it has stock shocks and lowering springs, the tires like to bump the wheel wells. This is what I need from my new suspension setup;
I live in Michigan...
Driven to school every day, and to work and where ever I need to go(usually not over 20 miles at a time)
Only driven in the summer, have a winter driver.
Autocross on the weekends/during the summer.
I really dont care about a rough ride, as long as its not harmfull the the car.
Possibly drag it every so often, just to have an actuall time slip for the 1/4 mile... (drag has no bearing on which suspension, only adding a little info.)

price max, around 1200.00.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for the help...:rocks:

Many people have never heard of D2 coilovers, but are that price, and are simply one of the best, maybe THE best. 36 ways of adjustability, and won tons of European races, including DTM on Bimmers and Benzes. Awesome suspension, very reliable and well built. Go for those IMO.

If i were you and was serious about autocrossing i would call be rre and see what they have to say about the best possible suspension upgrade for you within your price range. If i had the money i would go with the jic flt a2 set up by john mueller but thats $1000 more then your looking to spend. Dont forget about sway/strut bars and polyurethane bushings and the right tire choice would make a big difference also, plus an adjustable camber kit. Heres a link to rre's jic info page so you can compare the "best to the rest" type of thing

Best of luck to ya

Thanks, I allready have a adjustible camber kit, and strut bars, etc. I think I will continue to read and do searches on this site before I make my decision. Thank you guys/gals for your help:thumb:
