Ok so ever since i got my car lowered, it always feels like my steering wheel is trying to turn in a different direction..like i always feel it pushing either left or right...and i honestly do not feel safe driving it at all at high speeds...i always feel like its about to lose control...i had the wheels aligned by pepp boys...i have some pretty good ideas about ### it might be but i'd rather hear your guys' opinions on it..thanks

So, try having it realigned.
uh yeah but it should've been aligned right the first time...and i dont feel like going back there a month later and saying..."i dont think you guys aligned my car right can you check it for me to see if its ok"...### all they have to do is tell me that it isnt aligned...its not like i get to see what they're doing or anything they could easily rip me off..thats why i hate taking my car to people i dont know

Yes, most people learn early in the game to take your car where A.) you trust someone. or B.) you can watch. Pep Boys is a ricer haven, and someone could have done crappy work to spite you.

yeah i know and they charge you 65 bucks too :beatentodeath: took them like 15-20 minutes to do it...and i dont know anyone that does alignment...plus i heard when you lowere your car you put a lot of stress on the cv joints...could it possibly be those? what are the symtoms when those go bad

at first i though maybe i was just paranoid about it...but i know it has to be something because i really dont feel safe driving it at even normal highway speeds...i might just find another shop that does alignment and try them...i think my life is worth the extra 65 bucks...just hopefully it is only the alignment

Thats what im suggesting Also have your tires balanced. I doubt that would be it because the way you explain the shaking it seems pretty severe. But its a good start.

def. take it some place you can watch and trust. Always check their work before paying as well. A good shop wont make you pay if your disatisfied with their work. Atleast in my experience.
