Supra's automatic trans shifter

So I've seen someone put a Hyundai shifter in a 2G, so I was thinking about replacing the Eclipse shifter with a Toyota Supra shifter. It comes with a overdrive button and is short almost like a short shifter in a stick shift. Anyone else thinks it would look better? Heres a pic of a supra shifter..

If your going for looks, probably not. It won't serve any purpose other than looks anyways. I mean, short throw shifter for an auto.

also you would have to find a way to make it push down on the button

It looks better no doubt, but I don't think it would be worth the work it would take to make it work.

Its just something about a supra cockpit...like an airplane...I love that shit !

I think its how everything is canted towards the driver, instead of just symmetrical.

the eclipse and 3000gt are also similar, just not that extreme

I'd be interested to see what it would look like. I would think since the shifter seems to fit the design of the supra that it would be out of place in a DSM.
