So I spend a good part of yesterday and all day today trying to mock up the piping (I just had to get a "universal" piping kit instead of premade. So now I'm attempting to use alumiweld for the BOV flange and it's not working too well, so I'm JB Welding it.

But that's not my question. Is there anyone that can tell me how to mount it? Will it hold on its own if I just let it hang by the intercooler piping or?? Because here's the thing...I bought some rubber straps with hooks on the end but I can't find anywhere to hang them. I had to cut some of the metal that sits in front of the intercooler because of the Supra air ducting. Is it OK to just have it mounted to the piping and hang that way or does it need to be strapped in or???

Didnt BLT yet because my TB shaft seals will be in tomorrow from Kaman. So after I get those changed I will BLT. I have always been able to hear air being sucked in from there.

Dumb question...how are the Tb gaskets installed? They have raised rubber type parts on them Does the TB gasket rubber face the TB itself or the IM? And does the elbow gasket face the elbow or tb?

Wow are we seriously going to go there? What did i say? I said i dont care about looks. I said this car will be seeing only track time soon. All I really care about is that it runs great. I have brought this car back from the dead (yea sitting under a tree for a year with a shitload of problems) so dont go telling ME this car shouldnt be in my hands. If i wanted a car that looked good I would get a 2gb because the 1ga isnt on the top of my list as a looker. This isnt my only car and but i do drive it everyday because its a damn fun car
