Supra Haters.....

I know a few people in the area that I live that have supra TT's and keep hating on our DSM's I guess they have a right too since a DSM cant beat a Supra..man whats up with that? I guess the Supra is the king of imports right?

Technically the 1999 Nissan Blitz Skyline R348 would most likely be the king of all imports, but Supra's are just a little more common.

I love my DSM but saying a Supra is overrated is ludacris. Sure if your talking about a 91 NT supra, its like saying Dsm's are overrated and talking about a damn 420a. There is nothing overrated about a 93-97 TT Supra. RWD is fun, The cars are a nice shape, and they have a good amount of power and are easily able to reach high HP marks.

I would like to see who thinks the supra is king and is the the god of the import game. I know some kids who have supras TT a click if you will and they make fun of our DSMs me and my friends. Afther thinking or cars were pretty damn competive Im now begining to reconcider after hearing these punks talk shit. They were even bashing in the VR4. So is the supra the king of imports? supra may be king of imports from a roll and on the dyno.. but from a STOP and 1/4mile on the street/track with street tires.. AWD DSMs will eat it up..

tell your friends to race some decently modded AWD DSMs from a stop..

DIZZUMS are the KING DDDUUHHHH!!!! you are on DSMtuners....not poopra forums ol. j/k. yah they are super nice cars. can be hella fast specially on the freeway and on the dyno. but who still pays over 20grand on a car ten years old??? NOT MEEEE . plus VR4s can hang with them, RX7s can definetly hang with them, and so can 300zs....the 300zxs are lighter, half the price and are still decent in my opinion. im not saying they are faster or better or whatever. but money talks. Oh yah and 70percent of poopra owners are DICKS!!! oh yah im the king of everything. but some of them are super cool too. i guess just like any car. Not that it matters but I was talking to a guy with a midly modded 03 cobra.... he will not race a DSM..... SOMEONE (possibly from here) ate his ass up. Now I'd imagine the same would go for the supra.. High horse RWD with no traction vs high horse AWD gobs of traction. Love the DSM's... kinda like the underdog

Supra kicks ass, but so does every other car that looks sexy and is turbo, hence the dsm's (and yes the 1g's can look sexy too if you take care of em).

Its all about who's got the dough for the go. Just like we knock honda's until you find the one that running 11secs right next to ya.

I don't know that Supras shit their harmonic balancers at 100K, and I know for a fact that Datsuns don't. The biggest problem with DSMs, at least on 2Gs, is that they're built just a whisker too cheaply. I'd call a 20% difference in quality between 1Gs and 2Gs, just from the materials used, especially in the interiors. Yet they're still too damned heavy.
Toyotas are amazing cars, regardless of the model. I had a (Mk II?) Supra, when they were just the Celica with the six, and at 220,000 miles the thing was amazing. Pulled like a damned train, handled great, and of course everything worked. I'd always wanted a Mk III, until I drove one. What a hideous, stumbling, gargantuan pig. Still pretty, though. Just too big for what I like.
But "king"? Just a stupid thread. Most people wind up liking what they think is "best".
