2G Sunroof won’t close or open all the way

I’ve seen the threads talking about manually closing the sunroof. As stated in the video, I’ve tried that and came back with the same issue. It almost looks like something is stuck in the track? I’m not really sure. I’ve looked at the tracks and as far as I can see there is nothing there. The motor works FINE. Any ideas? It’s going to rain tomorrow!

Update, both sides are even now but still stuck open. Photo added is “fully shut”

You likely have debris in the tracks or the tracks are in some way broken and preventing the proper operation. Open it fully and inspect with a good flashlight. If you're able to unbolt the glass from the track while it's open, do that so you can inspect everything better.

You were correct! If anyone is reading this and is having sunroof issues, start by taking the sunroof off (on a 2G it’s 6 torx bolts size T25). Check if the railing is off track. Give it a few test runs forward and backwards while inspecting. Cleaning it worked for me, CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!!
