I have just redone my headliner as well and my door inserts and center console lid in all new material and I can't seem to figure out how to get the little "visor thing for the sunroof out to strip an re do it? I've tried searching and it keeps coming up with irrelevant stuff haha.. I just can't see any bolts or anything to undo?

You need to take off the sunroof, its just two bolts (or screws forgot) on both sides. Then the visor comes off, its held in fairly easily. You'll see, you will get it when you take off the sunroof.

So the sunroof comes out with just 2 bolts? No wires and stuff? Is it pretty easy then?

You don't need to remove the sunroof. My last Eclipse had a sunroof and didn't have visors when I bought it. Found some in the salvage yard. Each half of the visor, if you're referring to the slidding cover on the interior, has spring loaded clipse on each side. It can be a little hastle to get them out, but can be done if you're careful. You'll need to open and close the sunroof a little bit here and there to get your hands in enough to release the clips. They break easily, so be carefull.

The sunroof assembly itself has a nut at each corner plus drain tubes and plug connectors. And you'd have to pull the headliner back out.

Headliners still out... Just trying to figure out the easiest way to go about this visor bastard LOL

Well that's good. If AWDforthewin was talking about removing only the glass, that could work if it can be done. I've never done it so don't know for sure. The way I mentioned worked for me though.

I meant the glass part, thats just four bolts. When you remove the glass the clips for the visor are easier to take off. From the top.
