Ive read several sunroof threads, so please dont point me to any of them. I simply need some guidance as to where i can buy sunroof tracks for our cars. ive been googleing all morning and still nothing. thanks in advance.

Well if im correct the 2g sunroofs are no longer made, im assuming that is for the whole piece.

Im wrong i just called the dealer the $264 still, youll find some parts for our cars are no longer made, only at the dealer, or expensive.

Have you checked with the Mitsu dealer? I know they might be more money but may be the only place to get them from.

Just called the dealer hs them for $264 some parts for our cars arent made anymore, available only at the dealer, or for that part quite expensive, im glad i dont have that sunroof issue with those gens. good luck.

Well that part might be part of the track? maybe i dont have a 2g, and my buddys a bit far from me so i cant look. The best thing is to call the dealership tell them what part you need, and describe it, that always works for me.

Cheapest way to do this is go to a junkyard and pull a sunroof assembly. Buy the whole thing and you'll have some spare parts, and it will be a lot cheaper than buying the tracks new, even at wholesale pricing. IIRC the sunroofs in Avengers/Sebrings are the same, and may be cheaper and easier to find.

Yea i was considering going to the yard but i knew all they had was an rs. Thanks for the avenger sebring tip, ill check some out.

Since im just a kid with no job and in school i chose the temporary fix route. I took a metal hinge, cut out an identical shape with a dremal and modified the current tracks, seems to do just fine for now. When it breaks again maybe ill have the money to fix it. God i hate being poor, and having a car that is 2 different colors..
