So I have a full speaker swap already done for about 4 or so months now, did a full JL swap, tweeters and all. Now I had two JL w1's in a huge ported box and they were great. But I never realized how much I missed the trunk space. So I sold them and the original 300w rockford punch amp I had, and I need a new sub. Preferably a 12, a box, and a new amp. My budget is around 300-350. I still have it wired from original subs so I don't need new wiring.

for 300 to 350 your not going to get a good jl and an amp. i like the new kicker cvx's but i prefer the 10s. they have more of a clean tight punch. but for a 12 and to stay around that price range id go with a rockford t1 and a Hifonics ZRX1000.1D or a decent used 800 watt mono amp.

I like 12's the best (well really 15s, but I'm to old for that), and I've had RF & JL subs and amps. I don't see how you can do that with just $350 unless you hit up Craig's and get used components. I'm running 1 12" MB Quart in a sealed box in my Eclipse and 1 12" RF Punch Stg 3 in my Evo in a ported box and both hit hard, but I prefer the ported setup best. It is a bigger box though that takes up about half of my Evo's trunk.
