I hooked up a 200 watt amp to a 8 inch sub. Everything is hooked up correctly. My headlights work but everytime I go to click the lights for the dash and side lights the fuse blows in the fuse box for the taillights. Now my dash lights and taillights wont work everything else does. Any suggestions? ????

looks like your shorting something.

check your wiring. and if stuff isn't working now, its because of that short, replace their fuses. but if they keep blowing, then you havnt found that short, or wiring not correct

If it didn't do this before you installed your subwoofer and amplifier you know you did something wrong while installing them. Double, heck triple check all the wiring because something went wrong somewhere.

Thanks guys I took it to a installer and it was the wiring but the radios wiring. The illumination wires weren't capped off and they were touching metal mistake on my part.

Yea good call def sounds like something was wired wrong sad u had to pay someone to get it right ###### shoulda done that in the first place but you got it right
