but so what makes it wire 1-ohm or 2-ohm, is it the wire thickness, or the way you hook it up, or what, thats what i need to know

honestly, don't take this the wrong way but.... with a question like that you either need to do a lot of reading, go to a shop, or expect problems.

if your unsure about how to wire or how to reach the proper impedance, go to a shop and let them reccommend and sell you the correct product for what your needs are. otherwise you may end up wiring it too low for your amp and wrecking it, or too high and not getting full power and being disapointed

From what i've heard, those L7's like big ported boxes with lots of power thrown at them. As for amps, you can pick up a JBL 1200.1 on ebay for very inexpensive, and it's a solid amp, lots of people running them just from the "bang for the buck" factor. You can wire them up properly for that amp very easily. If you need help designing a box, just send me a PM, I have a box designing software (WinISD Pro) that rules.

termpro is the best sub box program, but expensive for free winisd gets the job done pretty well
