I was replacing battery ### it was dead. After replacing it now my system isnt working for some reason. I checked all the wires and they are all wired up right and none of the fuses are out. The subs get a little power but not like it should and the indicator light on the amp says its on. Can anyone help me?

Your shorting out and not getting enough ground. I had this problem when my amp cord was crimped between the rear seat. The subs would move lots, but no bass. Make sure the inputs are all tight on the amp, and not touching other metal parts.

Ya, try what he said....

It shouldnt be a power issuse, because if it was then you would have nothing going on with the amp. Check your connections all over.

If all you did was change the battery, and nothing else was touched, then there really should be no problems.

There are other things it maaay be, but Id go with what was said already first, then go from there.

So i checked all of theconnections over and it was the ground like you guys said. the guy that wired it up for me did a shoty job of doing it. its working fine now. thanks

are you running a capacitor? of not you may want to look into getting one. also make try a grounding kit to reduce the dimming lights. Both of these simple things can also help save your alternator Just a suggestion...(im a car stereo installer) LOL

no im not running a capactor. its going straight from the battery to the amp and then to the subs. where can i pick up a ground kit ### i am gonna rewire it all any way ### the guy put the amp under my seat and i cant adjust my seat much plus its hard to get at so im moving it to the trunk. any helpful advice? plus what did you mean about the dimming? none of my lights have dimmed yet if that is what you mean.
