well I am trying to attempt to replace my timing belt..since it didnt completely snap..Im not totally positive that it bent the valves or not..it just kinda backfires at me but I havent attempted to start it again..but anyway so I started tearing it down but ran into that stupid engine braket I cant seem to get the two outside bolts off since they run into the side of the engine bay! any idea on how to get this stupid braket off?? thankz in advance..~Dustin

so I raised the motor alot..by unbolting the front motor mount..so then I removed it by lifting the engine way up until the bolt got enough clearence..pretty much where the motor left motor mount was..but the last bolt..the one way in the back..still wont go near that access hole...I lifted it and raised it so much but no luck..its like they put the access hole right in the middle of the bolts but neather will go near it..

Ha ha ha ha! Yeah those bolts! I know them well. (I'm not laughing at you I am laughing with you. If you don't laugh you might pull out a gun and....well, never mind). I gotta tell ya, I had the same problem with mine. I could not get the bolts to line up with the access holes. Go figger. Anyway, I ended up angling the engine up then down to get all the bolts (and it was tight!). I don't know why they would not line up to the holes. good luck and patience,

THOSE BOLTS are Pain..so I got one of them out by lifting the engine like I said..so to make more room I pulled the braket for the power steering so then I grabed the braket and jerked it a couple of times and it popped out and then so I could angel it toward me and pull the damn bolt off by the left motor mount used to be..now I have to wait to get a 3 Jaw puller and get the damn pully off for the crank and then away I go after the timing belt...but man what a pain
