alright searched for this one but couldnt find anything.... i was woundering if you had to get a specific strut mount for a specific strut??? i want to get some aftermarket strut mounts with my new suspension... and i was also thinking of gettin some aftermarket bump stops to... my struts are goin to probably be koni yellows (externaly adjustable)on dropzone coilovers... not for sure 100 percent if im getting those struts and coilovers... still got some some more researching to do... if you guys know of any good but affordable suspension setups let me know.. i want to know what works good before i buy all this sh*t LOL... looking to drop my car 2-2.5 inches... was told that konis are the shortest strut and would probably be the best strut for lower ride heights... let me know wht you guys think.. thanks

Personally i wouldnt go any more than a 1.75in drop.Like stated above after 1.50-1.75 you start getting into camber kits and stuff. Also you will never get your car on a lift. Just my opinion;)

He has already dropped the car about 3in. with junk ebay cheap lowering springs. He's trying to do it the right way now so that it doesn't ride so shitty. Plus the damn things don't even hold up they're broken now, but still functional.

ya i got a small enough jack to jack the car up n i already got a camber kit on the back.... the car is an esi so im not gonna blow a lotta money on the engine so im jus gonna make it look nice LOL... was thinkin about turboing it but thought about it and decided to jus make it look nice and sell it and get a awd tsi....

oh ya im proly gonna raise it alittle.... its droped about 3 inches right now n the ride quality blows LOL.... proly going to bring it up about an inch... pretty sure im goin with koni reds with some kind of coilovers... not sure yet on witch ones...
