Ok so I started on my strut towers today Ill get more pics this is all i have done so far.

more to come!!!!!!!

so I did some more today heres what I got done:rocks::hellyeah:

Ok so I got some more done sense Ive been on mainly haven't gotten pics up cause I didn't have internet for about a week and a half so I got the pass side done just need to fill with bondo and smooth her out a bit so it looks good then I am going to get primer and rubberized under coating and prime the inside bare metal then clean the inside of the wheel well and under coat the whole thing.

I really cant afford them right now and down time that I can not afford I have to get this car done so I can go look for a job my parents are helping me with it so I just decided to weld them up

Did you do anything to protect the bare metal before you cover it over? What about the bottom side of the piece you just welded in? You can get scrap metal that is zinc coated on one side. I prefer to have the zinc coated side down where I can't see it. I'm afraid you might be setting yourself up for wild runaway rust inside. At the least use weld thru primer?

Looks really good man! Gives me alot more confidence tackling the little hole I got on my drivers side strut tower. Keep up the good work!

I just replaced my driver's side strut tower. Looked at little more worse than yours. Mine looks great now tho. If I remember to bring back my camera from the base I am stationed at, I'll snap a picture or two.

Yeah its not that bad at all really mine, my last one was way worse than either side of this one I got almost the rest done last night but tonight I got it running.

I heard this was a issue with 2G's but this is the first I've seen the destruction of rust on the shock towers, keep up the good fight!
