stripped blance shaft bolt hole

I need help i stripped the balance shaft bolt hole and dont know how to fix this.

Drill it out and heli-coil it or replace the front cover. Or eliminate the balance shafts and jb weld the bolt into the hole. Not much else in the way of options.

If i do a heil coil wont i get metal flakes in the oil,also no balance shaft.

Are you talking about the balance shaft tensioner bolt hole?

If you have already eliminated the balance shafts then just jb weld the bolt in there and forget about it.

The hole threads into the block, so im not sure how you managed to strip it...

I fixed it by grinding the tensioner and now it works.
