Street build 1g Laser RS E85 and Pump gas AEM and Dog Box

Its been about 6 or 7 years for me that i have been out of the DSM world and i have been playing with boats.

With gas doing what it is doing and my wife having my EVO 9 MR at school and me driving her Lifted cummins to work i decided i might as well build my DSM and drive that.

Last night me and my buddys bought 3 DSMs 1 running with a new SBR Stage 6 head with Comp cams 101-400 cams. The trans he says is a dog box also with low miles. I need thos parts my buddy wants the clean shell and will sell off his (92 TSI) as a running car.

We also got a Red 99 GSX with a cage as a roller and got a 96TSI black pretty clean.

We are going to see how many parts we have and try and put the TSI back togather it was a down south car with no rust but has some clear coat issues but the car has been stripped down it is just hard to see a clean roller go to the junk yard.

I will update with parts we got and build pictures as i go. Parts on my car now are as follows.

1. 225k blue and black AWD Laser RS
2. D2 coil overs
3. 3000sl brakes with SS lines
4. Back door front mount
5. SBR SS manifold
6. Evo 3 16g
7. AEM EMS serial gauge and wide band oil pressure and so on running speed density.
8. 1000cc injectors
9. Aero FPR
10. Walbro 255
11. ACT 2600
12. LSD insert
13 HKS SSQ (freebee)
14. Full 3" turbo back with a stainless magnaflow

I am going for a fast sleeper/ weekend and nice day to work car i think it will beat driving the diesel to work.

Sounds solid man. Cant wait to see more. Do you plan on running the 16g?

Yeah to start out. I have been looking at upgrading the turbo on the Cummins and maybe putting that on the DSM but i really don't want to buy a new manifold so i might just look for something that will be a bolt on.

For the street and auto X i really like that little 16g.

I was also looking at something like a 35R but then again more money and part swapping.

What turbo on the cummins? Hx???

I have not looked yet it is a 05 so i would guess a HX 40 or 35. somewhere in there it still runs good and spools good.
