I always wanted a truck, but then gas prices + teenager = more than broke, so I was looking around craigslist for a nice 4-cylinder.... next thing I knew I had a 96 GST.

they never told me it was also a good money pit to throw every penny I get towards...
and I still don't have a 3000gt
JayRolla said:3000gt's suck so bad. I hate working on those heavy bricks. I would never buy one. The oil pump tends to fail every 70000 miles along with the timing belt. My know someone with twin evo16g's. Its quick but not what you would expect for the power he is making. They are just to heavy.
. Im just getting started.PieEyedPiper said:Considering the oil pump and the timing belt should probably be serviced every 60,000, your 70,000mile failure prediction is really a moot point.
I'm actually of the opinion that 3000gt's rock. Yeah hard to work on, yeah expensive to work on but they're still pretty badass and while they may not be the 1/4mile beast a DSM is they can get up and go still.

Omg that must have been a smack in the face?kronus said:Pwned!!1!
So, I was driving down the road one day in my POS Ford Tempo, and I saw her on the side. Saw the hump and knew she was turbo. Went and picked her up with my dad within the week.
later discovered that the hump wasn't for turbos, and that 1.8 liters meant teh suck!
