Stock Temp Gauge Question

I currently don't have any logging software and just wondering what temperatures the stock water temp gauge is reading at the first hash mark? Half way point? And at the red line? My car currently runs near the 3/4 mark while driving on the highway for any length of time, just wondering if it's running warm or not. I was having a boiling over problem and trying to resolve it.

Also when I replaced the thermostat, I didn't remember where the bleeder valve, on the thermostat, was positioned in the housing . The Haynes manual said to make sure you position the thermostat back in the same position you found it in.

1/4 line is like 150 half is like 200 and 3/4 is like 250 3/4is very hot should be in the middle

The gauge is not calibrated to degrees because it's not that accurate a sensor. It shows "cold", "fine", "hot", and "incinerated".

I just pulled a thermostat yesterday, the bleeder valve (a hole with a copper thing in it) was facing the top side of the housing, almost straight up. Hope that helps.

You say that the sensor is "not that inaccurate", does that mean the logger readings are not that reliable either?
