Stock radio locks itself

Everytime I shut the car off and leave it alone for a while, the radio locks itself. So I have to keep pressing in the security code. Is this normal? If not what's wrong with it? Thanks.

Do the presets reset to default too? If so I would suspect the clock fuse.

No thats not normal, I had my stock radio in for a long time and I never had that happen. It sounds like the radio is not getting the constant from the battery when the car is off.

Same thing happened to me. I just replaced the radio fuse and put the code in again and it never did it again.

Yeah everytime I have to put the code in, it resets the radio stations too. I'm going to check the fuse for the radio. Maybe that could be the problem.

It reset my stations too. I have the infinity stock system and I accidently unplugged my AMP under the passanger seat. The fuse should do the trick though. My fuse even looked fine and everything but I still replaced it.

I hadn't been on here for a while. But I replaced the fuse and nothing. Its still the same. I don't know what's wrong with it?

Basically the radio isn't getting the voltage it needs to keep the 12v constant wire energized. If the fuses are okay and the car starts just fine, I'd say that a connection or wire is the culprit.
