0 boost. the sotck map doent read boost , thus why most use a missing link and FCD.

Exposing it to boost will kill it over time.

i totally forgot about that piece had a ms to start.

It got jacked long story short i have a aem fic now and am running it without a link or fcd. boosts fine but at 6000 rpm no matter what i change it will backfire. unless i am not at wot do you think this fcd will fix this or is it related to the issue. since it is still using the factory map sensor.

Also since i am tricking the map to see a constant voltage while i am boosting. Is it limited to certain boost level like a 1,2,3, bar sensor or is it just limited to the fuel/waste gate setups.

With the fcd i shouldn't have to change map sensors later to accommodate more boost, is what im asking.

FIC? Ick.. you may wannt try like Mappdaddy, MS uses it, but not sure how you would intergrate that into your system. Perhaps check cobalt guys? i think they are Map's too... if they are , that may be the way to go. for some reason GM is sticking out in my head.. so look for a GM boosted car and go from there.. sorry cant be much more help.. Most go MS over FIC.. you may soon find out why.

sounds like an accel enrichment issue, , Mayb rev limiter set wrong? Idk. gl!

i figure the aem fic (not my first choice) is just pulling fuel or adding fuel. And like an fmfu is still relying on the factory ecu ? to run the vehicle at all rpm and load ranges. I am assuming the fmfu and safc would need the fcd or missing link mod to run with boost. so my thinking is the aem is needing the fcd to trick the ecu to not cut fuel and backfire at wot.

Would make sense since i can part throttle to 7000rpm but can't wot.. can't be a rpm limiter.
