Apparently the previous owner just pulled off the gauge needles when he put "cool new ones" on and didn't bother to try very hard to make sure they were accurate. Is there anyway to get them the way they should be short of trial and error? Is every OEM gauge the same, IE if the needle is lifted over the stop peg, will everyones needle stop on its own in the same place?

Also, my speed sensor reading bounce between speed about +/- 5 mph when I am holding steady speed. Is this normal?

I've got a RS and a GSX, which have both worked perfectly for me, and the GSX havnt had the gauges messed with. I will go downstairs in aa minute and take a picture for you and post them on here.

You might want to check your plug on your speed sensor and make sure it is in all the way and there is no water in it, if it is u possibly have a speed sensor going out.
