Stock clutch hp threshold

Hey all, I've been lurking around and was curious. I've heard that once these engines make decent power, that the clutch/pp starts to lose effectiveness at controlling the power. What range roughly does the stock combo start this at? I'm curious to see when ill need to swap mine out. Any ideas?

You shouldn't need one on a 2g, until you upgrade the turbo.

If it matters, as every car's history is different, my car with something like 80k+ on the stock clutch would slip in 3rd on a cold night with the t-25 @17psi.

Since I wen with a 20g and other goodies, ive settled on a south bend stage 3. Thanke for the help!
