I have a 1997 Eclipse GS-T and I just bought a 14B turbo, ported manifold, ported o2 housing and a better side mount intercooler for 300$ sounded like a great deal to me but I might be wrong. But I was wondering how much boost I can run with everything else stock except my intake and I have a BOV. And how much hp would I get pre psi? ( Ill get a boost controller to change the psi higher) but how much could I run with everything stock and with a boost controller?

An other possible reason for this much psi that i have heard stories of...cats that are fried become clogged up which just creates bad flow in the exhaust resulting in an increase in turbo pressure... is this true... would getting a downpipe decrease the turbo pressure due to the increase in free flowing exhaust?

Seriously you need to buy a boost controller NOW and turn it DOWN way DOWN. Fuel cut is hit when your car becomes overwhelmed with too much air going into the motor, Your ecu is still thinking your running the nice "reliable"(hah) stock configuration, and when you hit 21 psi your motor is like wtf is this? and cuts off fuel to keep YOU from killing it. It cuts off fuel because it knows it cant supply the necessary amount of fuel for this air. Thus keeping your motor safe by shutting it down.

It is not a matter of WHAT turbo you have that decides what your fuel mods are, its how much boost you are running on that turbo. Anything above 14-15 PSI requires fuel mods such as pump and injectors, its what your plans for your car are that decide which pump and injectors you want. You will destroy your motor and turbo VERY quickly if you continue to run it like this. You are WAY out of the safe zone for your basically stock motor and your poor undersized STOCK turbo. Like I said get a boost controller turn it DOWN and then come back to us.
 
An evoIII will put down more hp at the same boost level such as 16 because once you hit that boost level the evo is more capable of supporting the airflow demands of the motor. With the T-25 it runs out of breath very quickly and will be extremely overworked at higher boost levels.

If you want to run anything even near 20 psi you cant keep the T-25 and expect it to do any good. The turbo will be WAY out of its efficiency range and will be blowing so much hot air and your sidemount will get heatsoaked. Not to mention the lifespan of your T-25 will be drastically shortened.

What you need to do is buy an evo III, 255lph pump, 650cc injectors(maybe bigger?), and a fuel pressure regulator. And of course something to tune and log with. You are severely under-equipped for what you are trying to run right now.

going with 650ccs? Gunna need chip it to compencate for it.
