Stock BOV Return Line

Hey, I have a 97 GSX. I just purchased an Injen Intake with no Blow off Return Line. I have an HKS SSQV coming in about a week or two. I was wondering is there a way in the mean time I can make my car run without using that return line. Can I plug up the BOV or no? I saw some pics with the intake boots plugged up, but I am not sure. If you guys could help me out I would really appreciate it.
