Im having terribme issues with it detaching. Original owner screwed in a corner so that it wouldnt get caught in the jam when opening(found that out after trying to remove it). It actually looks ok.

I have tried gorilla tape, and 3m heavy duty tape (red backing).. they all work until it gets hot and then they peel away.

Need to get this under control! Lol

Not sure what the red backing 3M tape is, but I think that's the one they recommend for name badges.

3M makes a series of double-sided tape called VHB (very high bond).

You can pick the one for your application. Warning: With the stronger versions of this tape, it will never come off without destroying the molding.

Can't tell you where to get it, since we haven't bought any new stuff in a long time, but I would start with 3M's application charts, and do an internet search.

Ill take a look. Almost everything comes off with heat guns.. i used to laminate counters and when we messed up the heat gun took care of it.

Ill check their charts.

Don’t know if this will work for you or not but we had a similar issue with a fox body skirt and the only thing that actually worked was jb weld 50133 high strength plastic bonder, it’s some tuff stuff. It is a two part epoxy that comes loaded in a dual syringe that as you squeeze the material out it mixes them for you. Might be worth a try.
