Body kit or no body kit

You can only order your body kit with a side of rice.

I will guarantee you, a super clean shiny all stock black GS-T will turn heads. And it will turn them in a good way, not a 'there goes another Vin Diesel ricer' way. The nicest Eclipse I've seen driving in real life (i.e. not the interwebs) was a completely stock looking one. It was lowered a little, and going by it was like 'vrooooom, psssss, vroooooooom, psssssss.' It was pretty freaking sweet.

So yeah, to LEGITIMATELY turn heads, I'd keep the body stock. Lower it, get a nice paint job, etc. But please, no body kit. LOL

How about noo

any explaination on why not? LOL

Did you notice that none of the body lines match just like almost every other body kit? You can turn heads in a good way or bad way? You chose whats good or bad.. it's not my car or me driving. IMO, that would be turning heads in a bad way.

This car looks very sexy with the stock 2gb body. Im pretty sure this car will turn a lot of heads and get the ladies:hellyeah::rocks:

The one in the link doesn't look too bad except for that front bumper. If the bumper didn't have those "wings" on the side, it wouldn't look too bad either. But it doesn't flow well at all with the car. Typically body kits crack and get all beat up from driving so there's repairs and upkeep once you get it done. I'd say get some nice rims, drop it a bit, maybe get a lip on the front, tint the windows AND DO MAINTENANCE! Make sure the engine is running well and throw a few 'go fast parts' at it. With a body kit, heads will turn. But it'll be to make sure they throw up out the window instead of on their interior.

Not sure, but if you go to google images and search "eclipse gsx" its the first image that comes up. LOL

Or you could use mine as an example :hellyeah::thumb:

mies dropped already, and paint is comming soon. i was just undecided on a body kit or not. but you guys are kinda making me change my mind. i like the stock look alot. the only thing i hate about my car is it's an automatic. but i bought the car for 1,200 with only 70k miles on it. its literally flawless and the guy was losing the car which is the only reason why he sold it. what are some "Go Fast" parts i can buy to make the car faster?

you can always make it a 5speed. A friend of mine has 97 GST spyder it was auto but we made it a 5 speed and it pulls so much better than when it was auto.:sneaky:

I was a fan of body kits back int he day and still kinda am. I have aftermarket side skirts cause I think they flow with the front lip and because I couldnt find any OEM ones for a good price LOL, but I think that the whole car kitted is not a good look just because most dont really flow the what was mentioned earlier.
