2G STM 02 sensor housing/alternator

Hello

Just installed the 02 housing from stm and I currently have an alternator and AC installed but the wastegate is pretty much on top of the alternator. If I loosen the alternator anymore the belt will be too loose. Just worried about it rubbing through the rubber on the power feed or getting to hot and melting through the rubber. Thought?

I would use a longer belt to lower the alternator to have more clearance with the wastegate.
