I'm just wondering if any of you know if its still possible to get new engines for these cars.

edit: Also, was the Eclipse made in the USA as well, same plant as the talon?

i remember a thread about someone at a tech school and Mitsu donated them 3 brand new 4G64s. I believe that Mitsu might have a few laying around in storage

Also yea ALL ECLIPSES, TALONS, AND LASERS were made in Normal, Illniois why do u think they call them the triplets :dsm:

I've been told now, by a few dozen people the reason why the Eclipse normaly fetchs a few more bucks then its brothers is because it was made in Japan and thus didnt suffer from poor quality union labor. I found that hard to believe, Corollas and Geos are made side-by-side, I had littel doubt Talons and Eclipses where made side by side.

LoL they fetch more money because Mitsubishi is a "japanese" name while Chrystler and Eagle are "american". Look at the door sticker of any Eclipse, Talon, or Laser they were ALL built in Normal, Illniois :dsm:

7grand?!?! That can't be right. New 1.8 ii-vt or whatever from Toyota is 5,100 including the install. (Celica GT-S engine).

They fetch more money because there are a lot of stupid people spreading such idiotic information.

Some are afraid of Talons because "Eagle" isn't around anymore. As though it was ever anything other than a Chrysler badge.

Nothing "people" or "a friend" tells you about a DSM is true.
