Aright so my buddy has a 93 eclipse 2.0 non turbo, and for the past month it hasnt wanted to start up, when he first bouht it, it worked fine, he let it sit for a few days and bam it didnt want to turn over. Ive checked all fuses, battery, starter, connections, fuel pump, and relays. They all check out good. I even replaced the crank sensor. Car has spark, fuel and compression checks out good. I did notice that when bein turned over the rpms dont move. Just in case your wondering it is a manual. Also Ive checked the timing and it seems to be good aswell. I just need some help because theres no reason it shouldnt start.

well i mean its turning over just not starting, and i just replaced the CAS

did the speedometer quit working did you check the crank and cam sensors, how strong is the spark, is the timing off did you check that, if it has spark fuel and compression it can only be timing, weak spark, or weak fuel system think about it, it has all three of the main things to start

Agreed, if you know it has fuel, spark and compression than the timing has to be off somewhere. Put the car at TDC at both the crank and cams. Make sure they line up, also make sure your timing belt is intact and tight. Perhaps it jumped a tooth off or a tooth is missing on the belt. If it cranks over should be hard to get it to TDC or just turn it by hand with a rachet.

if you directly wired the pump to test it than the wiring that runs through the car may actually itself be bad you will have to let us know how you tested what you tested
