montreal,
Hey everyone, here is my problem. Wednesday my clutch was feeling a little bit sticky. So i braught the car to the mechanic and he adjusted the pedal to be stiffer. After that, when driving, the pedal kept getting stiffer and stiffer. I re-adjusted the pedal to be "softer" but thats when it got worse. So last night i was fooling around with the pedal again but it was inconsistent. Now i cant get the car into gear at all, and when i start the car in first gear it feels like the clutch is always engaged it feels like the clutch isnt comming back up but the pedal is rock hard and I cant push it all the way down to the floor. Please help me with this problem.

I have a act 2600 clutch kit on my fwd 2g. I am also runing a fidanza flywheel and my engine is a 6-bolt.

I also heard that a 2600 act clutch is to much for the fwd tranny. Thank you in advance for any help!

p.s The mechanic said it might be some sort of bearing or the fork.

-thanks

Can it be somethig else? I had the transmission fluid changed about 3 weeks ago...I put royal purple synchromax.

thanks

Bad slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder or a broken line. Any fluid leaking?

Where is this "softer/stiffer" adjustment you and your mechanic dream of? WTF
On this page: RRE's Clutch And Flywheel Tech Info search for 2G Pedal "Pump Up"

problem was resolved took out the tranny and it was the fork and the bearing that was ruined
