Hey guys I just bought an ACT six puck clutch and heavy duty pressure plate for my 1997 eclipse gst. It has the weirdest problem though. When I start the car and drive it around the clutch pedal is smooth. But once I start driving for more than 20 minutes the pedal gets super stiff to a point where it doesn't want to shift into gear anymore. Any ideas as to what's the problem? I put a brand new slave cylinder. And the master cylinder is fine. Thanks guys.

It doesn't sink. I adjusted it like three times already it engages right around halfway which is perfect for me. It drives fine around the street. But once I go on the freeway I use cruise in 5th gear. After like 15 min I press the clutch in and it's super super stiff. And yeah the clutch lines are all stock but I see no leaks or cracks...

i never said anything about yours sinking mine was and after watching the video and properly adjusting its fine now. so the clutch rod under your dash is adjusted correctly? the clutch should start to disengage around 1/4 way from the top of the pedal travel. also when you push the rod in on the slave cylinder does the clutch fork move or is it tight?

But you can't adjust the clutch for them!

sorry for the late response my computer took a crap on me.....so yeah turns out i actually didnt adjust my clutch right. it didnt have any off that freeplay that it needed so i adjusted it so it would give me like 1/2 inch of freeplay and well problem solved!! my trannys starting to grind into second gear but thats another story..... thanks guys for all the help i was really getting frustrated on this one.
