Hey, I sold my car to someone who lives 1500 miles away. I tried to check everything to make sure it drove well, but I didnt drive my car very much(10K miles in 1.5 years) So I didnt know how well the car would driving so far. Car has 61K miles
Well anyway, the person who bought my car, is now 400 miles away. He apparently drove 200 miles without using the clutch. When he depressed the clutch, it did not come back up.
I had a 99, plus he was just going straight(Slight veer right)... so I dont think its crankwalk. The clutch pressure came back after some work.
Is it the slave cylinder? Car only has 60K miles, my 3000s slave didnt die till 90-100K miles. Fluid isnt missing, and no fluid by the clutch pedal. Something like a slave cylinder isnt a big deal, but I really want this guy to make it home.
Could it be that the clutch pedal is adjusted a little low? I have never drove 200 miles without pressing the clutch.
