Are you going to do more testing on this ? Let us know what you come up with good or bad workaround for link. Also 1 thing to think about the 2ga and 2gb's effectually have different injector pulse signals the 2ga you have to switch the firing order right at the coilpack .and hit that setting in link or is that setting for the 2gb's ....

Also the 2ga's have a cam and crank sensor on the drivers side of the block however the 2gb has an optical sensor on the passenger side of the engine where the 1g cam angle sensor Hall effect sensor sits . Don't know if this could be part of the issue but it does have to do with how the timing is interpreted inside the ecu as well as the ignition and the injector pulse signals this was I believe a work around but can't be certain I am not a programmer or a very good tuner just throwing up some ideas.

90-92 had optical CAS (Greentop), 93-94 had the Hall effect (Blacktop) fyi.:thumb:

Yes I know black to green top. :)

Doubt I will do to much testing other then check the base on a True Crank sensor car and turn off the 2 step on the next 1 g cam sensor car and see if I can see the drift or not.

I have found the Green top sensors last longer. The black tops seem to fail easy.

Yes thats what we all Assume and I feel that is true.

I will try and test a all stock car and gnd the timing and see what it does since Crank trigger cars are un adjustable..

Typical statement coming from a guy using TunerPro. Go play somewhere else troll. :boring:

Don't get your panties in a wad, nutswinger, I wasn't trolling. It was a genuine question for a very well known and respected DSM tuner. If I was trolling I would've made it a lot more "T00nerpr0 pwns yo!". Have some respect. I don't hate ECMLink, I respect it for what it is and what it does. Just because you and Phunny are going back and forth doesn't mean you bring that shit my way.

Guess you are referring to tuner pro? I have dealt with some Tuner pro stuff but the ECM link for the end user is a pretty hard program to beat.

Just curious, what specifics are you referring to? Some things in ECMLink are more complicated than they need to be, and I still don't necessarily agree that load based SD is better than pressure indexed maps, but I am interested to hear your opinion. What did you not like about TunerPro aside from having to edit hex on some things? ECMLink has a massively programmed and better logger, that's for sure and a given.

Yes people can Make ECM Link way harder then it really is.

My only tuner pro was on MAFT PRO tuning way back which might not even be the same thing and it was not that user friendly.

Really its about which system you use the most and know.

Are we still talking about Pina Motorsports here? If not, please tell me where to post what I have to say about the place and the man who owns it. In my experience, and I know I'm not alone or in the minority, Andre Santoso is a lecherous crook. He has lied, misrepresented and deceived me so much when he was supposed to be repairing my car. He charged for new parts and installed used or outdated parts, took good parts off my car and charged/installed them on other car(s). He built my engine with a re-machined crank and installed standard bearings. I goes on and on. After nearly two years of holding my car ransom, I finally was able regain get possession and begin to undo all the incompetence he charged me for. If anyone is thinking about trusting this man with their car; DON"T! You will pay dearly to have this man ruin your car and wallet. Anyone can PM me for details.

I agree, it's very sad that a man with great potential chose to go down the darkest path. I was very slow to catch on because it was too hard to believe things turned so bad. I gave him many chances to redeem, but it kept getting more nightmarish.
