High I am ready for the motor to fire up , are u supose to crank it with the key over for the oil p[ressure to bild up ive done that and smels like hella gas, and how long does it take for the oil light to go out?
 
Oil light should go out when the car gets started. If it doesn't you either have a wiring problem to the sender for the light or you really have very low oil pressure.

And if it smells like "hella gas" you might have a fuel leak somewhere.
