the problem I am having happened twice now in a 5 day span. I had to push start my car. The battery is fine and the alternator seems good. The electrics all come on fine, but the engine doesn't turn over or try. This pat tune I hooked up my jumper cables just to be sure it wasn't the battery, it wasn't the problem. So all this is making feel that it could be either the starter or a selonoid issue. I need help, this it'd my daily driver. Thank you for your help

Well what happens when you turn the key? Is there a lonely click sound. Or any sound? Do the lights dim a bit when you hold it to crank?

the lights dim a little, but they did that before a little bit. no clicking sound was heard either. when i turn the key, the dash lights come on.

Ive had the same problem, check all the connections to the battery. If evrything is fine try to jump start it.

Alright well I will have to check all the wiring tomorrow, Just been busy since it's finals week. I'm heavily leaning towards the solenoid at this point. It starts sometimes but not all the time. Since my last response i had the push start it 2 times out of the 5 times I turned it on.

found out that whenever the car is facing down hill that it starts. i'm a little confused as to what it may be now.

ok, it seems i fixed the problem. yesterday i went around the whole engine compartment and checked all the connectors, and found that one was loose. today it didn't hesitate to crank and fired right up with no problems.

Out of curiosity, i am having the same issue, what connection was loose? I have not yet tried the clutch switch, but battery is good, alternator is good, and i hear my fuel pumps. Just won't start.
