I had my car running after converting all sensors from 97 to 95. Since I deleted a bunch of stock components ie. PS, AC, EGR etc I decided to delete those harness connectors. I pulled a wrong wire, I think, now won't start.

If anyone can tell me what the small block, looks to be a fuse block, under the main fuse compartment and ECU. Mine is white plastic.

It is a J/C or a junction connector that runs through the wire harness of the car and runs together as a harness. Here is a photo of what I believe you are talking about. It will be lower connector in the photo underneath the main fuse box connector (A-83) or (33) in whatever book/website you are looking into.

It could be highly possible, because of the fact that it is pretty much the harness. Anything that is not plugged or shorted out, could cause the car NOT to start..
Did you convert everything right on the sensors to the ECU right?

Yes I actually only had to swap sensors. The car started after I finished that. Didn't want blank harness hanging everywhere so was deleting them.
Then wouldn't start. It probably is that little harness.

Again, it could be, but leaving lose ends on the ECU side could also cause problems as it could still feel that it is missing a FIRST signal and will not start..As I am not sure that the sensors connectors on the pins are all the same, if you did not change out the ECU as well AND f it does or does NOT matter...

Almost forgot to ask about "fuel, spark, air"...hopefully you are getting thoses and you can stay on track with it being a wiring problem.

Before this it ran on original kick up after wiring the motor. Got fuel an spark just won't even turn over

Ok, so you are getting power to spark and fuel as well as the starter right? It just won't crank over from the key in the ign.? :hmm:, Could be a ground? or a signal "from/to" a sensor?..what have you found out about the J/C?

If your car cranks, Check: spark, Check for fuel, Check compression.

If you are trying to turn the car on, And it's only ''clicking'', Check: All gorunds, Both starter wires, Battery, All fuses.

After you check the above, your car should be running and your problem situated. If not, Post back after you check all of the above.

Make sure you have the cam and crank sensors plugged in and the VSS.

Everything is plugged, had that as previous issue. Once car fired up I did harness clean up/delete. Everything that is necessary on engine is connected. The car will not crank, when crank sensor wasn't connected it cranked but didn't start.

Worse comes to worse if I have to replace harness will a neon with a 420a harness work. Or are the connectors different. I know ECU are similar and connect (RPM are different thats all ive heard).

But can I use the harness?
