Finishing up an Awd swap and AT to Manual swap. The shell I used is an auto but I used the manual's engine harness. Do I need to wire up the starter relay different. I know it works opposite from how the MT relay works but not sure how I should wire it. On the donor car I just always left the clutch pedal switch unplugged, not sure if that matters here.

If you don't mind 1) not having the stock theft alarm inhibiting the starter and 2) not having to press the clutch down to enable the starter, then I'd recommend just eliminating the starter relay and jumper (solder preferred) the starter relay's black-red wire to the black-yellow. But if you must have those functions then either use a MT under dash harness (for correct starter relay connections) or PM me and I'll tell you what to do.

The new car seems to have a separate aftermarket alarm but it looks like the previous owner disabled it (bunch of unplugged wires coming from the alarm box). So I have no issue trying to jumper the wires. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks!

Turns out, previous owner had the relay removed entirely and just the plug was hanging there. Jumpered the 2 wires you mentioned and she started right up. Pretty sure I can just wire in a new alarm in the future if I really want. Thanks a bunch for your help!
