Starter questions?

Where is the best place to get a starter besides the dealership? And, has anyone used a performance starter? Pros and cons of both?

you have heard of autozone right? you never buy anything from the dealership unless absolutly necessary. you can get a starter from any autoparts store in your area. theres no need for a performance starter either imo.

What's Autozone? Every parts store I've been to doesn't have the correct starter... Any websites or particular stores that someone can recommend?

Autozone, Oreilly, Advance auto parts, napa, carquest, checkers, federated, and of these auto parts stores can get you the right starter. You just have to know what you looking for and get a competent parts guy. If they try to give you the wrong part have them pull the book out and look. There are also places like rockauto.com that has many different choices.

I never heard of a performance starter, take your starter down there and do a comparison.
