So for a few days my starter stopped working on two occasions. Both times I just jiggled/tighten the positive wire nut going on it and it started right up.
Happened again, jiggled/tightened it and still wont start so i went ahead and replaced the starter and same deal.
Voltage on battery is good reading around 12~ while trying to turn it. I've read it can be the starter relay gone bad? How would I go about testing it (its behind the radio next to the fuel pump relay right?) Heres some pictures of 3 the grounds I have on the car (except chassis to IM) and the positive wire going to the starter. The + wire looks a little beat up, could it be that? I can go ahead and cut that off and clamp on a bronze post like the ground I have there.
Thanks.
Also note i'm using a bolt from the main bearing cap for a starter bolt (with the ground on it)if that matters at all.
