So on the 2g starter there is the negative and positive leads. There is one other one that apparently nothing attaches to. I noticed that when they test the starter at autozone they attach something to all three leads. Can someone explain this to me? Thanks:thumb:

there are more then 3 leads on a 2g.
there is neg , pos , siliniod
the 3rd has a connector that looks like a female/spade terminal

the flat blade is the negative one i know that, and nothing has to be hooked up to anything other then the neg and pos right?
