When i go to crank over my car the starter sounds like it is engaging but isn't turning the car over. I've swapped the transmission from A/t to m/t. I've Checked and re-checked all of the wiring and i also do not hear the fuel pump priming. I'm stuck now...Please help

When i crank it over and the grinding starts, the gauge lights flicker as well.
Last part of the swap and its driving me nuts ://

It sounds like either the teeth on the starter or the flex plate aren't lining up properly or they are worn out. Did you put a new starter in? How about the flywheel? Reconditioned or new? With the lights flickering: Check if the battery is good and keeping its charge. If its old then just change it out for a new one and make sure you get the right battery for the car.

The only thing that is different is the clutch plate from car i got the tranny from. The starter is the same automatic one i had before i did the swap, started the car just find as did the battery. So i'm at a loss and confused.

It was the battery, it was to dead to crank it over. It is now running but running rough and i don't have reverse.
