Okay so my old starter was bad so I decided to replace it I bought a used one and it worked fine with no issues... Then one day when I was driving the tranny seperated from the motor a little bit and after I fixed that my starter grinds really bad and most of the time won't start the car. I checked the teeth on the flywheel and the starter both look fine, I tried using washers to pull it away from the flywheel more that didn't work... Idk what to do I know the starter plate is the right one, I tested the starter and it comes out all the way with no problems, at first I thought it could be the wrong starter but before the tranny seperated it worked for a month with no problems I really don't know what to do now and this is driving me crazy as I can no longer drive the car... To go into better detail the starter grinds spins free grinds again then SOMETIMES starts but most of the time just grinds
