Hey guys
I posted earlier about an electrical problem I've been having with my car. Well I took the console out ### I heard a relay tick behind the cd player. The starter relay and I think the power door locks relay are right by each other. The starter relay goes like crazy then it fires and the starter makes a ticking clunk noise. The only thing is I just replaced the starter a couple weeks ago. So my quesiont is would a open circuit any other electrical problem cause this to happen.

Starter relay could be bad or your battery is weak under load (measure battery voltage while starting).

Pulled the starter and had it tested. It tested fine. Are you talking about testing the battery under load or the starter relay under load? If you're talking about the starter relay how do you do that? Could the coil pack have any affect after start up? I measured the primary resistane and it jumped around and dropped to 0

rallye, I owe you! The battery was weak under load. I checked it a couple of times but it was not under load. Took all the connections off and put them back together tightened them down(one was pretty loose) Took it out and ran like normal!:thumb:
